Introduction to the Processing IDE/Language
— Swearingen Engineering Center, room 2A17
Blake Seekings
For the first talk of the Fall 2021 we will be discussing Processing, which is both an IDE and a language that allows programmers to create stunning visual graphics with very simple code. We will cover everything from installation/creating your first sketch to multi-language support and examples of really cool programs. There will also be links to multiple resources that help you to learn Processing step-by-step so that anyone could become a master. The talk will end with a discussion about computer science as a whole and how useful Processing is as a learning tool for amateur programmers.
