Elections and MINIX Mini-talk

Swearingen 2A17

Charles Daniels

Tonight, since this is our last meeting, we will be holding elections.

Also, Charles Daniels will be talking about Andrew Tanenbaum, the creator of Minix. Fun Fact: This is the operating system that is run in Intel's Management Engine. Anyhow, we will have cake as well to end out the semester. This meeting is more laid back and relaxed than others, and functions as our end of the year celebration.

Like I said earlier, this is the last meeting of the semester.

Good Luck on Finals, and check back in August for information about the first meeting then.

Also if you weren't aware, there is a section of the website with links to various websites, including the personal websites of some of our members. If you have a personal website and are interested in having your link added, please tell us! This website should be added to the Internet Archive sometime over the Summer Break, and it may look completely different in the fall.

If you are staying in Columbia over the Summer Break, there will still be Open Source South Carolina Meetings.

It's been an honor being your webmaster and Vice President, and I wish you all the best in the future.
